School-Centred Initial Teacher Training (SCITT) refers to a network of schools that have been accredited to run training courses in teaching. Attending a briefing session would give an insight of what teaching is like through the use of presentations, talks and meeting teaching staff. You would have the opportunity to ask any questions about teaching and get to know what it is actually like from experienced teachers.
